- IP address, and approximate location derived from it

3. How and Why We Use Personal Information
We use personal information for the following business purposes:
- To respond to inquiries, quote requests, and other messages you send us
- To provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
- To detect and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse of our forms
- To understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site uses a consent management tool that lets you review and control cookies.
Essential cookies are required for the Site to function and to keep it secure. They are always active. As of the Effective Date, these are the cookies the Site sets:
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
wpconsent_preferences |
Stores your cookie consent choices | 30 days |
| WordPress comment cookies | Retain your name, email, and website if you post a comment, so you do not have to re-enter them | 1 year |
_GRECAPTCHA |
Google reCAPTCHA spam and abuse prevention | 179 days |
Optional cookies. We may also use cookies in the following categories. These are set only if you consent to them, and any cookie we add will be listed in this Policy:
- Statistics — to help us understand how visitors use the Site
- Marketing — for advertising, including cross-context behavioral advertising
Managing your choices. When you first visit the Site, a consent banner lets you accept all cookies, reject optional cookies, or open Configure to review each category and the specific cookies within it. After you make a choice, a cookie preferences button remains available on every page so you can review or change your choices at any time.
Rejecting is as easy as accepting. Our banner presents “Reject Optional” and “Accept All” side by side, each requiring a single click. We do not pre-select acceptance and do not hide the reject option.
Global Privacy Control. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or a browser extension transmits a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to decline optional cookies and to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information for that browser, and we apply that preference automatically without requiring you to interact with the banner.
No penalty for opting out. Declining non-essential cookies does not reduce the functionality of the Site, and we do not offer you a different price, level, or quality of service because of your choice.
6. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
Wize Solutions does not sell personal information, and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law. We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding 12 months. We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years of age.
If we introduce advertising or marketing technology to the Site in the future, we will update this Policy and provide a clear method to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information before doing so.
7. Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law.
| Information | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Contact form submissions | 24 months from your last contact with us |
| Privacy requests and our correspondence about them | 60 months from the date we receive the request |
| Server and security logs | 12 months |
| Consent records | 30 days |
| Marketing contacts | Until you opt out, or until we determine the information is no longer current |
If you ask us to delete your personal information, we will delete it as described in Section 8, but we will retain a record of your request and our response for the period shown above. We are required to keep those records to demonstrate that we handled your request properly, and we do not use them for any other purpose.
